QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience Networking Systems Administrator.
  • Minimum 5 Years Windows Administration.
  • Cisco routing and switch experience, CCNA or Network is preferred.
  • Advanced level experience with PaloAlto firewalls, SDWan, Aruba wireless.
  • Advanced level experience with the design and setup, relating to various networking models and architectures, networks and their servers and functions, and technologies including such protocols as TCP, DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP.
  • Expert with Administration of VMWare, Horizon view VDI, Dell/EMC, Windows 2012-2019 Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, O365, Application Servers, DNS, Firewalls, Network Switches and Routers, TCP/IP.
  • Industry certifications or equivalent is a plus.
  • Must be organized and proactive as this role is detail-oriented and requires someone to be a self-starter. 

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining the data center and network for Turck.  Provides high-level professional support for the implementation, management and evaluation of all phases of the network administration for that location. Helps to support smooth operation of networks and systems to provide maximum performance and availability.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Perform the administration, design, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Network and Security infrastructure solutions and appraise ongoing assessment of Servers, Firewalls, VPN, SSL, intrusion detection or intrusion prevention and other network component policies.
  2. Maintain the configuration of IT Infrastructure and have the ability and comprehensive understanding and technical know-how with server administration, including Active directory GPO deployment, patching, and network device configuration, and hardware management patch management, including experience and knowledge of implementing, configuring, integrating and supporting the network security with Palo Alto, and Windows environment.
  3. Working knowledge of common network protocols and services, such as TCP, UDP, DNS, and DHCP, Microsoft Active Directory. VEEAM administration is a plus.
  4. Conduct information security training and awareness activities (phishing and social engineering campaigns, newsletters, etc.)
  5. Ability to remain calm while multi-tasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have attention to detail and great problem solving skills.
  6. Ability to share on-call responsibilities, night and weekend projects, and support work as required.
  7. Perform other related duties as assigned.
