Facilities and Safety Manager - Plymouth, MN

JOB SUMMARY:

Oversee the various functions of managing the facilities in keeping with the strategic focus of the company.  Perform functions that add value to the facilities which include but are not limited to maintenance for the building, grounds, building equipment, company vehicles, monitor and adjust computerized energy management system, work with outside contractors, safety, comfort and security of employees and others that work or visit the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Requires BS or Associates Degree or equivalent, plus 3 to 5 years of  facility management experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1.    Supervise all the facility maintenance and safety functions of all TUSA facilities.

2.    Responsible for the general security of either of the facilities and operation of the building security system.

3.    Responsible for the facilities’ Energy Management System.

4.    Prepare the budget for the maintenance of all TUSA facilities.  Propose capital expenditure for projects.  

5.    Make routine repairs, and perform preventative maintenance to building, grounds, and equipment.  Report defective equipment and recommend repair or replacement.

6.    Negotiate and sign contracts and leases on behalf of the company.

7.    Responsible for project management and problem solving of the facility.  Act as main contact person for projects that involve multiple departments, contractors, vendors, etc.

8.    Responsible for copy center management.

9.    Manage the Company Employee Safety Committee.

10.    Perform other related duties as assigned.
