JOB SUMMARY:

The SAP Business Analyst provides technical support and leadership on SAP systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating, and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance monitoring and systems configuration, design, and implementation. It manages daily operational support with business end users and contributes as a project team member to develop, test, train and influence best practices. 

Provides direct support to assigned business area. Works directly with business users and applies IT and business knowledge and experience to develop and understand the business case and business requirements to solve for technology related business problems.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any specialty
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP implementations, rollouts, and enhancing solutions in SAP SD and SAP CS modules. Knowledge of integration with MM-WM-PP-FICO.
  • Cross functional impact analysis with end-to-end business process knowledge in SAP SD & and other modules
  • Working knowledge of SAP SD and APO integration
  • Able to do AMS (Application maintenance and support) by resolving SAP issues and system enhancement to provide permanent fixes.

SAP SD, Order-to-cash, Intercompany sales, Customer master, Item master, Pricing, Output management, Shipping, Billing, and Returns including SD integration with MM-WM-PP-FICO, EDI, and Reporting.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Understand business needs and translate the understanding into a form that leads to the creation and/or composition of better process and/or technology solutions in the SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) all modules including Order-to-cash, Intercompany sales, Customer master, Pricing, Output management, Shipping, Billing, Returns including SD integration with MM-WM-PP-FICO.
  2. Experience in Design, development, and implementation of global Sales, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Returns, & outbound warehouse solutions.
  3. Advise business teams on process improvements in above mentioned modules when transforming process functions from legacy systems to SAP ensuring best practices and creating a sustainable solution for success.
  4. Understands both technical and functional design and brings perspective from all domains (process, application, integration, data, technology) when solving business challenges.
  5. Write Functional Specifications for SAP SD-related custom RICEFW objects; Unit test and provide guidance in bug fixing.
  6.  Analyze Order to cash & Intercompany sales business processes to provide industry best practices recommendations.
  7.  Researches, analyzes, designs, identifies, and facilitates process improvements that focus on providing standard SAP functionality to meet business requirements.
  8. Assist the team in leading the technical effort for Integration testing, UAT, Data Migration, Super-user and End-user training, and Documentation.
  9. Ensures end-to-end system resolution through the integration of all SAP modules. 
  10. Performs SAP configuration in specified modules to support changing and new business needs.
  11. Validate change requests for production support in specified SAP modules, ensuring to challenge the solution options or development methods, if required.
  12. Troubleshoots application problems and proposes optimal resolutions. 
  13. Strong over Order-to-cash processes in SAP - Subject matter expert that can provide valuable insights into ongoing/upcoming projects.
  14. Experience in Power BI or SAP BI reporting and EDI.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
