Quality Systems Coordinator - Plymouth, MN

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent will oversee Turck Inc. Quality Management Systems (QMS).  The Quality Systems Coordinator will coordinate the creation, audit/evaluation, revision, reporting, maintenance of the Company's QMS, including its procedures, policies, forms and other related systems and documents, and certification.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

•    Bachelor’s degree in related engineering and/or technical field.

•    ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification or comparable.

•    5+ years of manufacturing experience is a must.

•    3 to 5 years of experience successfully implementing and/or managing an ISO 9001:2008 (or comparable) quality management system.

•    Proven ability to function effectively at all levels within the organization hierarchy.

•    Strong leadership and organizational skills including the proven ability to manage multiple projects.

•    Self-driven, systems-oriented, common sense approach.

•    Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills

•    Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to others and resolve problems 

•    Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, have previous ERP experience and have the ability and aptitude to utilize various application software packages.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1.    Work with all applicable company team members in order to update and/or develop the QMS in accordance to the company’s needs and the relevant standard.

2.    Coordinate and provide training to company team members regarding the ISO 9001:2008 regulations and QMS.

3.    Act as the liaison with the ISO Certifying Body on matters relating to TUSA’s QMS.  

4.    As the Lead Auditor, manage the internal audit system to verify consistency between actual activities and the documented QMS.

5.    Monitor and identify non-compliances in the QMS and evaluate the effectiveness of the preventive and corrective action system.

6.    Initiate and monitor corrective and preventative actions from detected internal and external audit deficiencies, including opportunities for improvement. 

7.    Responsible for records management and conducting training in the area of quality assurance.

8.    Perform other related duties as assigned
