Salary Range:$97,410.00 To $131,670.00 Annually
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for electrical systems and automation? Join our team as an Application Engineer (III or IV) and help customers unlock the full potential of Turck’s cutting-edge products and solutions.
What You’ll Do:
As an Application Engineer, you’ll be a trusted technical advisor, supporting customers, distributors, and internal teams with expert guidance on selecting, installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting Turck’s automation technologies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and other channels.
- Design solutions that meet customer needs and solve real-world problems.
- Recommend Turck equivalents for competitor products and identifying alternatives for unavailable items.
- Conduct feasibility tests and validate proposed solutions.
- Support commissioning and troubleshooting efforts with detailed documentation and technical resources.
- Deliver training for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects and contribute to official product documentation.
- Identify sales opportunities and submit leads through our Apps SPEAKS program.
- Mentor junior engineers and represent the department in divisional meetings (AE IV).
What We’re Looking For:
Required
- Electromechanical experience, including working with sensors, controls, and automation systems
- Experience in technical writing and customer support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in technical writing and customer support
- Proven ability to handle complex technical cases and mentor others
- Leadership experience and deep product knowledge
For AE III:
- 4-year technical degree with 4+ years of experience, or 2-year technical degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
For AE IV:
- 4-year technical degree with 7+ years of experience, or 2-year technical degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
Bonus Points
- Strong electrical aptitude and understanding of circuitry
- Hands-on field support experience, troubleshooting in real-world environments
