Turck Announces New Vice President of Sales

April Ankrum to lead US Sales and Customer Service Teams


MINNEAPOLIS, MN— Turck, a manufacturer of sensors, connectivity and fieldbus technology for factory, logistics and process automation, today announced it has named April Ankrum as its new Vice President of Sales in the United States. In this role, she will lead the sales channel, which includes direct sales, sales representative network, distributor partners in addition to customer service. She is tasked with ensuring Turck continues to increase revenue with innovative automation solutions, a knowledgeable sales force and best-in-class customer support.

An engineering and product management leader with more than 20 years of experience, April most recently served as the Director of Product Management for Connectivity. Before that, she spent nine years in several product management roles at Turck. April’s considerable experience in product strategy, manufacturing, and engineering management in addition to her passion for customer service will be crucial to Turck’s success and future relationships with its customers.

April holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Management and Engineering for Manufacturing from the University of Connecticut in addition to multiple certifications from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
